Cover Your Crash Pad Maven Crash Pad Covers are made from a 420D Polyurethane coated Nylon for a combination of abrasion and water resistance. Putting the cover on and taking the cover off is incredible easy. It won't slow you down when you're out bouldering and with dry shoulder straps it makes getting from boulder to boulder a breeze. |

Dropzone Crash Pad Designer; Ideas First Soft goods design is a ton of fun. In creating the entire line of Black Diamond's bouldering pads (DropZone, Mondo, Satellite and the soon to be released Butler) and accessories like the Caddy and Chalk Boy chalk pots I approached each project with the following idea. Every crash pad and chalk pot needs to do only a few things for a select group, boulderers. We play hard and use our gear to make sure we don't break bones. So the gear needs to be burly! We love playing in the dirt, living in our cars and trucks, and going on three month road trips. So we save every penny for just one more day on the rocks. So the gear needs to last! |

Gear for your Crash Pad, Bouldering and Climbing We're a group of boulderers and climbers who love what we do and make the gear to do it in comfort and style. We're definitely small at the moment but we've plenty of experience in the outdoor industry with climbing gear design. We got together to offer some products that we thought the 'too big for the common climber corporations' weren't able to provide or didn't think would make them enough money.
So here we are offering you the gear that we make and use ourselves, as boulderers and climbers we know the climbing gear that we need.
To start with we've created a water resistant crash pad cover for the Franklin Drop Zone and Cordless crash pads. These covers are made from a burly coated Nylon. With elastic straps to keep the corners tight and out from under foot. If the response to this cover is good we'll be adding other sizes fairly soon.
We have a couple other products in the works and hope to offer them up real soon. Thanks for looking and enjoy some of the photos and videos.
